Rena Sherel SOFER is an American actor from America. Her role includes daytime television as well as episodic guest performances as well as TV-produced movies. In 1995, Sofer received a Daytime Emmy Award for her portrayal of Lois Cerullo in the soap drama General Hospital. She has been acting as Quinn Fuller since 2013 on CBS' soap opera The Bold and The Beautiful. Sofer was born in Arcadia, California, the daughter of Susan Sofer, a psychology professor, and Martin Sofer, a Conservative rabbi. Her family subsequently moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, until when, following the divorce of her parents] she moved with her father and brother David to Teaneck, New Jersey, in the year 1970. However, Sofer lived in Western Pennsylvania when she was a kid. They were brought up in Ambridge, Pennsylvania by their father, Beth Samuels Jewish Center. In the following years, she attended the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, which is co-educational Mordern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer was born in North Bergen, New Jersey. Her father was the rabbi at Temple Beth El. After graduating from North Bergen High School in 1998, she continued her studies at Montclair State College. Sofer played Lois Marie Cerullo for the first time on General Hospital. Her first appearance came in 1993, as a manager of a band. Her first major role was in the role of Rocky McKenzie in the daytime soap opera Loving (1988-91). She is most well-known for her character on General Hospital as Lois Cerullo (December 15, 1993 – September 24, 1996). Then, she appeared as in guest appearance on the show (February 7-17, 1997; September 30th - October 2nd , 1997). In 1995, Sofer won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress on the Drama Series for her performance as Lois. Sofer was invited to join CBS' soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful in the newly created role in the role of Quinn Fuller. Her first episode aired on July 12. Sofer has appeared as a guest as a cast member or guest in a variety of prominent prime-time television showslike Seinfeld and Melrose Place. She also appeared on The Chronicle, Ed and Friends. The premiere episode aired on the 12th of July.
