Mary-Louise Parker

Mary-Louise Parker was born August 2 in 1964. She is an American actress. After her Broadway debut in Craig Lucas's Prelude to a Kiss (1990) in which she was nominated for a Tony Award, Parker rose to prominence for her roles in films like Grand Canyon (1991), Fried Green Tomatoes (94), Bullets over Broadway (94), A Place for Annie (94), Bullets over Broadway (94), Bullets over Broadway (94), Bullets over Broadway (94), Bullets over Broadway (94), Bullets over Broadway ( 1994), A Place for Annie (94), Boys on the Side (1996), The Portrait of a Lady (1996) and The Portrait of a Lady (1996) and The Maker (1997). Parker was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actress in the same Play in 2001 for her performance in the role of Catherine Llewellyn, in David Auburn's Proof. Between 2001 and 2006, she recurred as Amy Gardner in the NBC TV series The West Wing, for which she was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in the Drama Series in 2002. In her role as Harper Pitt in the HBO miniseries Angels in America, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. She also won an award for her performance in the series, a Primetime Emmy Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. In 2006, Parker was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. In 2007 Parker received three nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. She also was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 2006 for Best Actress in Red (2010) and Red. (2013), as well as Red 2 (2013). Parker was back on Broadway in 2019 to star in The Sound Inside, for the second time, she won a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play. Parker has been writing articles for Esquire magazine since 2007 and published Dear Mr. You in 2015. She was the main character of Roma Guy in the ABC miniseries "When We Rise" in 2017. In 2018, she was on the show as a political advisor on the series Billions on Showtime.
